I've eschewed SQL-Ledger for LedgerSMB. SQL-Ledger is no longer open
source (and the author is a bit heavy-handed). The LedgerSMB folks,
on the other hand, are much easier to deal with.
LedgerSMB is based on SQL-Ledger, but the code is being completely
rewritten. First on the list was working on all the XS scripting
vulnerabilities found in SQL-Ledger. Now they are moving on. The
list is good, and the response excellent. Being written in Perl, it's
not that difficult to decipher if you need to get your hands dirty.
And the invoices are very professional looking.
