Desktop Switch Suggestions

   Does anyone have a suggestion for a 5/8 port desktop switch? I am looking for something that will work well with my existing Linksys gateway (10/100 - old), and 10/100/1000 base T stuff. I am very interested in getting some performance out of a gig to gig transfer between two new systems. 

    Would like to pay a reasonable cost - no managed stuff is necessary.. 

    Just for me and my kid at my home..
