Same here.  I still have a Barry Goldwater pin.  RR inherited a 
bankrupted state; his predecessor Pat Brown switched the accounting 
system so he could spend in his last year revenue expected in the next.  
RR was dealt a bad hand, but I agree with Bob that he ruined the 
University of California.  (UCLA grad here.)
