db2 client for Linux

     Anyone know of a good command line db2 client for Linux?  Even a 
gui client would do.  Preferably something similar to the mysql client. 
  I've got something from IBM installed, db2exc, but looking at the 
documentation reminds me of how much I hate proprietary documentation. 
I've yet to figure out how to connect to a db2 server that isn't 
installed on the same host as the client.
