Ditto. Earlier experience with *buntu disabused me of becoming an
early adopter. If you want a guaranteed to be broken system, just put
up the .0 release of a new *buntu candidate!

Sidux/sid can exhibit this behavior, but the numerous early adopters
usually post a warning on the forums when bad things happen. I failed
to read the notices just once (1 year ago) and got to investigate the
howtos for fixing a broken xorg. Fortunately the typical duration on
Sidux from early reports to a solid fix/workaround is less than 3
days. I suspect that some of the early adopters don't really have a
life away from the keyboard.
