I thought it was simply Ubuntu stuffing up NM that was causing me issues
with building VPN's but having just tried the same thing with F10 I
think it's NM that's the issue.

What I'm suprised about is how something so critical to the
distribution/s is simply not working properly.... and being included by
them.

I wonder if they are using the old MS tactic. We don't have a good
product now but stick with us because the next release will... FUD.
