It's not clear from the article that they actually do;  it may have been 
on a personal PC carried by a crew member.  But the article and the 
general thread about disabling autorun was a good article.  I'm more 
paranoid about such stuff recently because I've been running XP on 
VirtualBox to use some windows-only apps that I need.  But I suppose the 
worst that can happen is that badness contaminates the external drive 
carrying the guest OS, and then I throw it out  ;-)
