My first Linux OS install was done 1998-9 in London. My brother gave me
70 quid and I went and purchased Caldera 2.4 or was it 2.2 (I don't
remember now). We put it on an old Pentium 90. I still remember not
having to reboot to complete the install. Just finished up at the desktop.
From memory from then on was when I started haunting the linux-sxs
list. Although I couldn't vouch for that in a court of law, I'd get all
Reagan about it "I, I do not recall".
