This server has what is called Service Processor Embedded LOM ( Lights
Out MAnager ) Web Interface. It is a combined of the hardware/firmware
that allows you remotely connect to the server as a remote KVM. ( Some
docs I found use the term KVM over IP ) thru a browser interface. Then
you can attach your PC' s CDROM to this server and let the server to
boot from/access this CDROM as if it is directly attached to the server
. That's why it is call Virtual CDROM.

This is very similar to DRAC ( Dell Remote Access Controller ) from Dell
  servers.

Anyway, I found how to use it: /dev/cdrom or /dev/scd0. In this
particular case, it uses /dev/scd0 for the virtual dvd, and /dev/scd1
for the local DVD.

Thanks,
Vu
