After many years (5?) of running VMware (and having paid a lot of money for 
it) I now run VirtualBox and am quite happy with it.

The sound is a lot better on VB and I haven't found anything it has a problem 
with.   I have  PaintShop Pro on it but haven't tried  Photoshop.

Runs quite snappy too.
