firefox and plugins

Yep, that's what I'm tired of doing! It's like Dracula. Almost every
maintenance cycle, I have to whack the plugins again. I could try
whacking totem, but last time I checked it had a lot of dependencies
that I need.

What I was hoping for was a way to have Firefox give preference to
mplayer and to ignore the totem plugins.

Just when you're ready to watch a movie trailer, it's Oh S**t time -
forgot to whack the totem plugins.
