IOError: [Errno 28] No space left on device

Hi Forum,
While starting the JBoss server on linux i get a following error
"IOError: [Errno 28] No space left on device"

Can anybody tell me, what can be the reason for this error ???

The details for the machine are
`````````````````````````````
OS - RHEL 4
Kernel Version - 2.6.9-5.ELsmp
Jboss Installed
JDK 1.5 Installed
Oracle 10G installed 
RAM = 2 GB
SWAP Memory set to = 4GB
HD = 80GB

PLease help..
