Nvidia problems

Hi list,
 Last night I updated the kernel on my CentOS 4.5 installation to the
2.6.9-55.0.6.EL kernel. While at it I tried the new (for me)
x86-100.14.11-pkg1 driver from Nvidia. (previously using 9755 without
problems) X works great, but when I switch to console I get a floating
box with the warning "Input not supported". I saw some with the same
problem on the Nvidia forums but saw no solution. This is a showstopper
for me and I dropped back to 9755 again until I find a solution.

Athlon XP 2000
Nvidia FX 5200
Fully updated CentOS 4.5
