xfstt killing Xserver

This is based on linspire, although I stopped using the
CNR service a long time back.

The only thing I miss is decent video, since when I
upgraded to the new version of firefox, the old flash
player wasn't compatible and the new flash player
consistently crashes my X server.

I may upgrade when I have time, after I retire in about
4 more years.
