Quickcam USB Problems

Are you dual booting between Debian & Gentoo?  I'm not clear whether
you're saying that it works currently in Debian, or worked in the past
in Debian?

Anyway, I used to use camstream last year, but it doesn't seem to work
at all with newer v4l versions in X.
