And that will be when there is a rock-solid open source solution to ME
and ALL its derivatives. In my company's case, there is an archival
(hardware/software product that uses writable DVDs) function and a
fairly unique PGP implementation that have (at present) no possible
open source solutions. Most large companies have such a hodge podge of
poorly designed but company critical MS systems that the
implementation of non-licensed solutions is a costly (in terms of
man-years to clean out the rats nest) choice. So, don't hold your
breath.
