Hmmm...
I don't recall whining. I don't any any MS stock. I
do recall pointing out that the EU is going to take a
lot of money from a private concern, give it to itself,
and call that increasing competition. They didn't mention
compensation for anybody hurt by MS's activities from that
2 billion dollar fine. Likely because it would be hard to
find any consumers who were hurt or put any dollar figure
on their claimed harm.
Anyway, like the man said, if MS, or Apple, were a French
corporation none of this would be happening.
Have you noticed that American companies are the targets
or potential targets for the EU? Apple, Intel, Qualcomm,
Rambus, and Google.
Have any European companies been hit like this?
I really don't think dislike of MS is an excuse to cheer
on the EU while it essentially robs people. Imagine if
this fine were levied by China or Russia.
