Welcome aboard Brett and calm down please!

Every group has it's little kinks.

1. It's been a long time custom on this list for "am I posting, is
anybody there, test, etc." posts to include a humorous story of some
sort. You didn't know that, of course.

2. Most people on this (and other lists) consider posting in html
format to be a gross habit. Many use non-gui browsers that have little
or no support for html.

3. Not said, and you haven't violated this, but most people except for
one long term member do not prefer to see top posting.

4. You'll find people on this list to be quite friendly, if somewhat
abrasive at times, and everyone is ready to help you with any Linux
questions.
