new convert?

Last week I dropped off an Ubuntu 7.04 disk at the local credit union
(Siskiyou Central Credit Union)).  The IT fella said he'd give it a try.
Today I had to deposit a chedk and asked if the fella was in.  He was
and I asked him if he'd had time to play with it.  He had and was really
impressed.  He has an old IBM server that had a "Linux ?" distro on it
he couldn't work. He had tried all of the winders server he had 2000,
2003 and what ever, BUT he ran the install and it found all 6 hard
drives, (winders found only one), he was able to get on line and
downloaded all 117 updates.  He may be a real advocate.  Right now the
bank uses winders.  Maybe he'll turn some heads?
