OK.  I finally go to the BIOS with F10 late in the boot sequence, changed
to boot from CD first, and saved.

Unfortunately now it doesn't touch the CD, leading me to believe that it
may be defective.

As usual though, this CD doesn't look like most of the CDs I've seen.  It's
a small form factor with a somewhat different cable than I'm accustomed to
seeing which must take power to the drive as there's no power connection.

I haven't been able to figure out how to get the middle cage out of the
case which would allow me to get to the screws that hold the CD drive in
place.  I may try unplugging this, and setting a standard IDE CD on top of
the unit, but I've had enough fun for today.
