You can get a Compaq manual for the machine.  If it's like my Armada
there is a way to get to the BIOS.  I just fdisked mine, got a driver
for the model Armada I was using and installed that.  I've got a DSL
distrobution on mine.  It only has a 6 gig hard drive and 64 megs of
memory.  Only thing I could find that would run on such limited memory.
