UPS / notifications

I just wrote an article on how to install and configure Network UPS
Tools (NUT) at:

I didn't cover notifying but take a look at upsmon.conf and the
NOTIFYCMD configuration directive.  You can either give a one line
command to e-mail you a notification or call a script that will do the
same.

BTW, I use apcupsd, but NUT looked interesting.
