Well the new Firefox appears to be rock solid. It uses the default
directory created by firefox/iceweasel, and thus your bookmarks are
picked up automatically. You do need to set the links for plugins
manually.

Works for gmail, forums, google, mplayer plugin for movie trailers and
various audio, and streaming radio sites. Downloads work as well.

I'm sure it has tons of extra features, but I'm not likely to use them.

Also, a sidux user reported a site
http://news.softpedia.com/news/How-to-Install-Slackware-12-0-58910.shtml
 with scrolling banner that drives the older firefox/iceweasel cpu
utilization through the roof, and that behavior is now gone.
