I use T-bird (actually the debian Icedove version) most of the time, 
since it always works with my imap servers, and is identical in windows. 
But I have used Evo on imap and find it very fast, much faster than 
t-bird. The problem I have is with evo disappearing, just vanishing, but 
only on one machine. I usually run debian.
