I was not sure if you could update FC6 to FC7 that way.

XFCE$.4:
No, actually xfce4.4 has changed the icon bar, let me stop and be more specific.
The bar generally at the bottom, where pop cabinet tray where you installed the
icon and command & program info for calling a desired program. Currently the new
version have icons on the desktop, M$ish, a minimum setup of icons on a toolbar,
ran as a menu like system, like KDE or M$. The old style had a tab, small &
minute, that was selectable. When selected, a list of Icons would popup and stay
there till you selected a program or the tab again. 

If the previous way of operation is still there I have not found it.
