I would agree with that.    It has always worked quite well but I haven't done 
anything really special with it....  

I guess I was impressed with the fact that when you go to install a Windows 
version on one of VMW's virtual disks, you have to go through the exact same 
processes that you would go through on a real piece of hardware and disk.

Partition (use your fav partioning software, format,  boot from the Windows 
floppy or the CD to get things started.  Exactly the same.

I ran Win4Lin a long time ago and found it to be a piece of ****  in my view 
because it required kernel patches and a lot of diddling to keep it running.

vmw is a breeze in comparison and Windows always seemed to run better under 
vmw.  I've never had to restore a windows version that was run under vmw.
