You have to remember: many of the core members of the group are
natural contrarians. Anything that Collins chooses (say Ubuntu)
provokes an automatic repsonse from the RH === Linux bunch. <grin>

And yes, if you're having a problem with peripherals on an older
Ubuntu, the appropriate response is: get a newer Ubuntu.
