How did YOU get the part?

If it was as a consumer, (as opposed to a designer) the part will last
as long as it lasts.  If you treat it right, 100,000 hours is a pretty
good thumbnail for the life of an LED.  There is an excellent chance
that the rest of the part will fail before the LEDs do.

If you are designing something, and you don't know the part number, you
deserve what is going to happen.
