<OT> Headphone for public use

If anyone's actually interested, I haven't found the preferred hard
"real" headphones, and in looking on the web and at Walmart, I have
found only one headphone that would be reliably cleanable. Oddly, it's
an earbud sort sold at Walmart for just $0.97--not on their web site, as
far as I can tell. So ironically, the most cleanable one I've found is
also the most disposable. Unfortunately, an earbud is probably the
least appropriate type otherwise.
Then there's one available from Tiger Direct for $3.00, and from a
Canadian company for only $2.00. It's got foam pads (which are
presumably replaceable if we found a source). I knew something like
this had to exist, as Walmart sells a cassette player with a similar
(but all-plastic) headphone included for $5.00.

I had forgotten that the airlines give them out, but then at the price
of even discounted airfare, the economics are somewhat different than at
a free library.

Airlines have those don't they? So find a friendly air hostess and she
might be able to tell you the supplier details.
