Dell Refunding Windows Costs?

Interesting. When a number of us at the SANS NOC got Dell's we
"negotiated" a return of our windows licences for a refund of 1
cent. They were to cut checks for us (which we of course would have
slashdotted. The checks never arrived. We found the 1 cent price to
be great as Dell was determining the value of a windows license.
