There was a pretty good group calendaring application many years ago for
*nix systems, Clockwise.  It ran in character windows, provided group
calendaring, e-mail notifications, ability to assign tasks easily with e-
mail notices to the assigned person, etc., etc., etc.  I used this for
years starting on SCO Xenix systems.
