Umm, I see a close parenthesis, but no opening one in a few of these. So
I missed it as a cast.

Event though it is a python definition, do you have the struct
definition anywhere? I only do this sort of thing with Tcl. I am sure
the python header is somewhere about. But I am guessing you have the one
you use.
