I'm sure Ric will weigh in on the on-going Duke lacrosse team case.  In 
my county the  DA has taken no action against a moron who carried a 
cocked and loaded (!) pistol into a local mall, droppped it, and nearly 
killed his companion.
The victim refuses to identify the idiot, and our DA somehow does not 
see her refusal to assist the investigators, by telling what she knows, 
as obstruction.
