Hello all I ammm back. Got the below yum problem:


yum update <retiurn key>

Error: Missing Dependency: xosd = 2.2.14-6.fc5 is needed by package bmp-xosd
Error: Unable to satisfy dependencies
Error: Package elfutils needs elfutils-libelf = 0.119-1.2.1, this is not
available. Error: Package elfutils-libs conflicts with elfutils < 0.126-1.fc6.
Error: Package bmp-xosd needs xosd = 2.2.14-6.fc5, this is not available.
Error: Package elfutils-libelf conflicts with elfutils < 0.126-1.fc6.
Error: Package gtkhtml needs libgnomecanvaspixbuf.so.1()(64bit), this is not
available. Error: Package elfutils needs elfutils-libs = 0.119-1.2.1, this is not
available. [root at RSivernell ~]#   

I have tried yum update --exclude <  all of the above error packages > and still
no go. cI have been able to do a couple of specific items only. any ideas
here,need some educating here.


This one is mostly for Lonnie, or any one who knows. On my xfce4 desktop I now
have paper icons, they look like paper to me, I do have some kde stuff and some
gnome stuff on the system. Fedora 6. Is this supposed to be showing up here now
or is gnome adding to my desktop?
