There is no such thing (well, there is but it's not being used). I'm
trying the runit approach as substitute of sysvinit. It works and I
checked (with "sv status ...") that the gettys are up and running (same
PID, not dying and ressurecting again). And the problem only appears in
vt7 with X (I hadn't noticed this when I first posted).
The commands I use to spawn the gettys are like "/sbin/agetty 38400 tty1 linux".
