Libranet is a sad story. It was a very good distribution, based on Debian,
but the principle developer died of cancer about two or three years ago. I
think his son wanted to carry on but wasn't financially able. Today, even the
domain registrations have lapsed, so Libranet seems to be well and truly
finished.
