Yeah, you're missing the part where Lonnie says, "Thanks, but that won't help 
me.  I need to do this without apt-get, as the systems in question are on a 
private subnet with no internet access."

Lonnie, is it feasible to create an apt repo locally that contains the 
package(s) you need?
