Helicopters & air tankers flying pretty close to town.  Ir's about 1/2
mile from my house down town, down Indian Creek to the Klamath River
where a big chopper that picks up 2,000 gallons of water in just a few
moments and takes off.  There are two smaller choppers loading water
buckets 1/4 to 1/2 mile further down river.  They make a turn in about 4
minutes.  Talked to a fella on our ambulance crew who said he heard the
SO in Yreka give orders to start evacuating a residential area, Indian
Meadows, but we drove up there and the CDF crews said they had heard
nothing like that???

There's supposed 5 of those big choppers working the fires around here
and a number of the smaller choppers.  Try to keep you posted.  Packed,
but hoping not having to leave.
