Squirrelmail password is for accessing the web application itself and
thus any SMTP/POP/IMAP services. The e-mail storage files on your linux
box are not password protected beyond your login protection. When you
log in (linux, not squirrelmail/web), beadle indexing runs. And your
e-mail files are there and properly available.
I think this is all as it should be. Beagle will not index some other
user's files. Only yours.
