I'd beg to differ on Celerons. My 2.5 year old cheapie HP laptop is a 1.3GHz 
Celeron. I do software development on it. Run various OSes in VMware. And 
generally use it as my all purpose machine when away from the office. 
Certainly not speedy compared to the Dual-Duo-Quad-X2-Cyborg processors that 
get all the press. But very functional. At the right price and the right 
application they're a good choice.
