Ric, STOP! You want the evdev, Those are events for input. Without
that, your mouse and/or keyboard may not work (depending on what they
are -- ps2 or USB). What you can get rid of are the myriad
drv-<video-card> drivers. Keep things like input, keyboard, etc.
IIRC, you can get RPM to give you the description of each package. If
it's for a video card you don't have, get rid of it.
