I had good results with FreeBSD about 4 years ago. Interestingly
enough, Linux emulated stuff like KDE ran faster than on native Linux.
I gave it up when I got a new computer and FreeBSD had not caught up
with the peripherals. One of these days, I may rearrange one of my
disks to carve out a primary partition to try it again.
Does nVidia work on xxxBSD?
