Good luck on your "transitional" period. It won't be easy.

As a matter of fact it might help to keep a journal. You might (or
probably will) go through the stages of Grief and sometimes it ain't
good if you aren't aware that it is driving your body-feelings which
lead to emotions which leads to thinking which leads to actions.

I had to learn that I wasn't dealing well at ALL with some old issues
regarding Wife #1, and I pretty much HAD to learn about my Grief Issues
and their cycles. "Losing" a child is about the worst. Expect it and
you'll be good there, Ben. If you find that you're blowing up at
something totally insignificant, stop-switch to "Wow! This Grief thing
wants to kick my ass! Hell nah!" Laugh about it and assure everyone that
it's safe to come out now. <cackles> Been there, done that, got the
t-shirt.

We're damn near computers ourselves. So, we can re-program ourselves
once the output result is known to be flawed. Like trying to repair a
hard-to-start lawn mower by flailing it with a crowbar. It's the
recognizing part that is the bitch when you find yourself in a snit and
don't see that this loss is what's driving it from the backside of your
head instead of the front side. <huge grin> Ric
