Back when I lived there, we had a snow fall! That was a hoot, seeing all
those guys in cowboy boots slipping on the ice with those leather soles
and riding heels. <evil cackles> The beer in them kept them from feeling
any pain though. 

That was before Kathy Witmire (think Tootsie) (former Mayor of Houston)
put an end to the open container law in Harris County. You could have a
beer in your hand and drive before her reign. Now you can't have a
cell-phone in your hand and drive! 

Having a couple of beers at one of those "Ice Houses" calmed the mind
enough that you could drive home and not want to commit homicide. But,
oh Hell nah.. Kathy knew what was best for everyone. She outlawed the
open containers and the shootings started on I-45 southbound at 5PM. One
guy was doing the shooting with a rifle from a van through an open
side-door while his equally crazed buddy drove the van. That's why Ms.
Clinton scares me. <cackles> Ric
