Tell $DEITY that wayward4now wished to remain in his good graces and
installed it, AGAINST ALL OF THE OFFICIAL FC WARNINGS! <grins> Like I
give a rats, unless it breaks something. Then I bitch.

Here's the rub, the module is not found during bootup. Since the $DEITY
is infallible, the problem probably lies between the chair and the
computer.

Do I uninstall the kmod and x11-nvidia stuff, then run the
installer .bin file? I looked around on the nVidia site and didn't see
anything to suggest that, but I may have just missed it in the midst of
the "kEwL" offerings geared more towards the brain-dead Youth of today.

What's with the 'heavy-set hacker guy'? <chuckles> I'm sure of one
thing, you didn't do that promo! Playing non-stop video games under
windows would insure a larded-ass and a bad case of acne,
"fer-sure-man". <twangy guitar hit>

No huge thing, I can still surf the web and do my stuff. I just want
$DEITY properly happy with his new found disciple, who joyfully breaks
the rules by having communion with Him and awaits further instruction in
the ways of the righteous.

<genuflects deeply> Ric
