The official Samba 3.0 HowTO and Reference Guide, and Samba-3 by Example
by John Terpstra which covers setting up Samba as a master domain
controller.  Install Linux on the box, configure Samba, and don't tell
your friend (Friends don't let Friends use Windows :-).
