There was a time when we much preferred the BusLogic cards to Adaptec,
probably because there were some wierd issues with Adaptec at the time
(about ten years ago I think).  If I remember correctly, the BusLogic cards
worked better with *nix Adaptec drivers than some of the Adaptecs.
