they've never not toured. kind of surprising, in a way. latest album 
came out last year -- it was a compilation on sony, and i wrote the 
liner notes -- and they always play at least a hundred dates a year. 
just got back from a brief tour of italy, in fact.

it *is* almost too peaceful. i moved west of the hudson, got a nice 
house and a nice little farm, have good people around and work i 
(mostly) enjoy.

if janine turner were to move in with me, i'd say things would be just 
about perfect. okay, a substantial if.

btw, i'm using the new version of textmaker and loving it.
