People keep asking me about Vista and I'm like why ???? If you don't
have a brand new computer... with gobbs of resources why would you?

And as a corporate user I have no intention of moving my workstations or
servers to it... There simply is no reason (if any one can think of one
I would love to hear it)...

As someone else said on the internet... It (Vista) is a lot like Linux...

So while I still think Linux has a ways to go on the desktop... I'm
getting closer and closer to not ever needing windows again... As soon
as I can figure out how to write macros in OpenOffice and the Base
application works properly without abnormal exits ... I don't think I'll
need Windows at all...

Skype on Linux is still a problem... But hey I don't use it that much to
worry about it.

At work I use Gimp / Dia / Scribus / Inkscape / QCAD on Windows and I
don't have an urge to use the closed source alternatives... Once the
user learning curve is over it's just fire it up and go.

Anyway I should stop now...
